In Our Own Voice: A Presentation on Mental Health

In Our Own Voice: A Presentation on Mental Health is being presented by the Rotary Club of Denville on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at Morris Knolls High School, 50 Knoll Drive, Rockaway, NJ 07866. This program is suitable for 7th grade students through adults. 

The NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) presentation will change attitudes, assumptions and ideas about people with mental health conditions. It will provide a personal perspective as leaders with lived experience talk openly about what it’s like to have a mental health condition. They will discuss what happened, what helps, and what’s next in their journey with mental illness. 

Additionally, NJ4S Morris-Sussex with the Mental Health Association will discuss the program that provides an array of social, emotional, and mental health services supporting students and their parents/caregivers. The services, centered around the voice, experience, and needs of students and their families, are offered at no cost and is funded by the Department of Children and Families.
