This series is designed to relieve stress for family members who are coping with a loved one’s mental health issues. Each session will include psychoeducation, facilitated discussion, and guided experiences to help participants get in touch with their own inner resilience.
No prior art making experience required. All sessions are in-person and online, from 1:00pm to 2:15pm.
Materials will be provided for in-person attendees.
Each virtual participant is responsible for their own materials, which were chosen
keeping ease of access in mind.

Schedule for Intuitive Tuesday’s:
June 6th: Setting Intentions
Participants will be guided through a mindfulness walk to the garden across the street, followed by a mindfulness writing activity.
Materials Needed: Writing utensils and paper.
June 13th: Strengths, New Beginnings, and Challenges
Participants will identify strengths, new beginnings, and challenges through art making.
Materials Needed: Writing utensils, drawing materials of your choice, and paper.
June 20th: Weeds, Pests, and Thorns in the Garden
Participants will reflect on recent challenges and building resilience through these “challenges” through a transformative art activity.
Materials Needed: Writing utensils, drawing materials of your choice, and paper
June 27th: Finding Inner Strengths and Empowerment
Participants will collaborate to create a strength garden using various materials, such as collage, tinfoil, masking tape, drawing materials, and natural materials.
Materials Needed: Paper, writing utensils, drawing materials of your choice, and masking tape, tin foil (if available).
July 11th: Mindfulness in Nature
Participants will spend time outdoors for collecting organic materials and found objects from nature to create eco mandalas.
Materials Needed: Found objects in nature, such as leaves, pinecones, flowers.
